Make sure to have plenty of aoe healing, split items like crystal and scrolls between all chars.and try to have fun.it's a long and boring fight. Without a Scratch: Reach Castle Vebeaux without one of your characters ever going unconscious. True Power: Get your main character to level 20. (Normal difficulty or higher.) Tested By Fire: Get your main character to level 10. High Dps lures Redbeard into one of the side chambers and fight him there along with any Soul jars while Low Dps stays in the other side chamber and kill any Soul Jars that spawn there. Terminal Insubordination: Claim Avadon for your own. The best piece of advice that I can give (and how I beat him) is splitting your party into High Dps and Low Dps. This has resulted more than once in my super duper shadowalker main char getting charmed and one shooting my mage char. Redbeard will spam terrify and charm on your frontline fighters. They are very resistant to physical damage also, another "screw you" basically.ģ.It's a dice roll in terms of CC. This meant Jenell the shaman couldn't do any damage with her autoattack and was basically useless after using her cooldowns. This is complete and utter garbage game design. By some miracle, I was actually bored and decide to equip everybody and enchant all their gear and retrain them before going past the point of no return, but if I haven't, I really wouldn't have won.Ģ.The Soul Jars have specific immunites and resistances. This is hinted exactly nowhere before passing the point of no return and there is no reason to equip the other 2 guys you don't plan to take along with you. I managed it on my second try but it still took 45 minutes.ġ) You fight with all 5 companions. It's not an exciting fight, it's a freaking grind. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that fight is annoying as all hell and is very poorly designed. I managed to make that redheaded bastard die. It's not a spoiler that you can fight Redbeard at some point.
